Return & Refund Policy

 

These policies apply when you place an order with TOYS STREET SDN BHD via the Website, www.toysstreetmalaysia.com. By placing your order through the Website, you agree to be bound by these policies. 

 

Capitalized terms used in this Refund and Exchange Policy, unless otherwise defined herein, shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Service on the Website at

For the avoidance of doubt, this Refund and Exchange Policy shall constitute part of TOYS STREET Terms and Conditions, and shall be read together with other TOYS STREET Terms and Conditions. In the event of inconsistency between the Terms of Service and this Payment and Shipping Policy, save as otherwise set out expressly, this Refund and Exchange Policy shall prevail in respect of the matters concerning the return, refund and exchange of the products ordered through the Website.

 

General 

Except as set out in this policy, all sales are final. We do not accept any exchange and/or refund request unless the item you purchased is having manufacturing defect.

 

Non-Returnable Items

Products/items listed below are non-returnable for any reason whatsoever, whether for refund or exchange: 

 

  1. Products with minor plastic molding defects 
  2. Products with colour variation in different production batches
  3. Incorrect assembly
  4. Improper usage, storage or handling of the product
  5. Failure to follow our written instructions for the product, or those of the manufacturer
  6. Damage or defect due to wilful neglect or negligence by anyone other than us
  7. Modification to the product and/or software, by someone other than our representatives
  8. Products that could be repaired by sending the spare parts or accessories

 

You shall take note of this before placing orders for these Non-Returnable Items.

 

Permitted Returns

You may return the item to us, at your own expenses, within 7 days of the delivery date of your order (“the Return Period”), if the item is faulty due to the manufacturing defect, in accordance with the procedures set out in this section (“the Return Procedures and Requirements”).

 

You shall comply with the Return Procedures and Requirements below, in order for you to be eligible for refund or exchange: 

  1. you shall ensure that the item is packaged properly, and you shall return the item, together with the receipt, to the location as designated by us within the Return Period; 
  2. the item shall be unused, product packaging shall not be tempered with, and the item shall be in the original product packaging.        

 

In the event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, or where you fail to comply with this Refund and Exchange Policy, we reserve the right not to accept returns and send the item back to you. Appropriate measures, including legal action, may be taken in the event we discover a misuse of this Refund and Exchange Policy. 

 

Refunds Method (if applicable)

Upon our receipt of the returned item, we would carry out the verification and inspection in determining whether to approve your request. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange request. If it is approved, we would have the options whether to: (a) refund to your payment method; or (b) send the replacement item to you, if the item is still available. 

If we approve your request in making refund to you, the refund will take a certain number of days, depending on the refund method. Refund for return will be issued according to your original method of payment, or applied as store credit which you may utilize for your next purchase. 

If we approve your request in sending the replacement item to you, depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged item to reach you, may vary.

Partial Refunds

There could be certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable): - 

  • item with obvious signs of use
  • item that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Before we can determine whether a return is necessary, our customer support will ask you a few questions to help troubleshoot the fault and if necessary, put you in touch with our tech team who might be able to assist you without resorting to a return.  

 

Shipping Costs for Return Product 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs and return shipping cost are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We will only be responsible for the shipping costs for replenish spare part, any other costs arising from the same shall be borne by you. 

The product shall remain in the customer's responsibility until we receive it.
